Pool has been a little miracle of a community for many years, but alas, nothing lasts forever. Thank you to all who participated in making this a vibrant, fascinating place.

The following Pooligans have left their contact information. (If you are not on the list and would like to be added, send an email to herself -at- karawynn.net with what you'd like posted.)

Celtfiddler posted this at the notice of Pool's closing, and I thought it a fitting eulogy:

I'll miss the depth of the place. Even the waders and swimmers had more depth than the terms implied. There are probably better places to hang out and discuss polyamory. Certainly, there are more (and perhaps better) places to hang out and discuss books or music. But there are damned few places anywhere (on the 'Net or off) where you can meet folks that you can discuss damn near anything with, from books to food to politics to music to pets to poly to whatever someone comes up with next, and get this high of a signal-to-noise ratio out of the responses.

There was magic here, even late in the game when I came in on the tail end of things, there was magic; and like most places that ever held it like a glimmering candle in the darkness, no one wanted to believe the magic could all be used up. But lives get busy and people move on, and because we're human, even the best of us can't always get along. And, as ever, there are outside forces that work to make crap of anything wonderful, spammers and trolls and bears, oh my.

All of which is a long-winded way of saying I'll miss all of you people I never even got to know. I enjoyed delving into the backwaters of the Pool to get a feel for who and what had gone before, and interacting, however briefly, with the ones who were here when I arrived.
